The Growing Roots Fall Food Festival is just around the corner, and we can't wait to see what mouthwatering creations our talented participants come up with this year. Mark your calendars for October 15, as the aroma of chili will fill the air and bring everyone together for a sizzling competition.  Whether you prefer a classic beef chili or enjoy testing your taste buds with unique variations like vegetarian or seafood chili, this event will have something to satisfy everyone's cravings. With a wide range of heat levels and a variety of secret ingredients, our contestants will compete for the title of chili champion.  But the chili cook-off is not just about tasty food—it's also an opportunity to connect with friends, family, and fellow chili enthusiasts and of course support Growing Roots. As you stroll through the booths, don't forget to ask the cooks about their recipes and cooking techniques. Who knows, you might just discover a new favorite chili recipe!  So bring your appetite, grab a spoon, and get ready to satisfy your chili cravings at the chili cook-off. Contestant entry fee is FREE, and includes HALF of a 6-foot table, access to electrical, serving cups, and tasting spoons. Bring all your supplies to prepare chili and face off against community members in this fun, inclusive fall festival!
